Brief History Of Postino
Postino got its start back in 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona. The name comes from the Italian word for “postman” since the first place was in an old post office building. Husband and wife team Craig DeMarco and Kris furnished their new wine bar and bruschetta themselves to keep costs down. They just wanted a laidback spot for the neighborhood to sip wine, and beer, and nibble on bruschetta.
Later, Lauren Bailey hopped on board as a founder to grow Postino all over Arizona. Today their parent company Upward Projects runs over 20 Postino locations in different states. It got investment from Brentwood Associates in 2017. And the WineCafe has been growing like crazy while keeping its original vibe.
